That's why we look after our people, communities and the planet while still being profitable. Feel encouraged to shine, however that manifests: you don't need to hide who you are. You can feel the energy and the passion, it's what makes us unique. Inspired to make a brighter work day for all and transform with us to the next stage of our growth journey? About the Team
The Extend Product Management team at Workday drives the product and strategy for Workday's technology platform that was designed from scratch for the cloud. We are growing at a fast pace, and we're looking for folks with a strategic vision and a proven record for successfully getting sought-after products to market. Product managers at Workday are involved in all aspects of the product management life cycle. They craft great new features to delight our customers, evangelize the improvements to both internal and external customers, all while sweating out the details to deliver an outstanding end product
About the Role
Does the challenge of defining enterprise-class technology in the era of cloud computing appeal to you? Do you want to explore this challenge for a fast-growing company that is an authority in the SaaS market?
Workday Extend is an embedded platform as a service (PaaS) offering that leverages the power of ML/AI to empower developers to build and extend enterprise applications and integrations on top of the Workday platform. In this role, you would be a product manager on our developer experience team focusing on empowering our developer community to build, test, and deploy applications more efficiently and quickly.

  • Collaborate with Workday's customers, partners, development teams including architecture, consultants, operations, and product teams to understand their requirements and priorities.
  • Work closely with the development organization through design, development, testing, release, and maintenance of the product to ensure its quality and successful delivery on-time.
  • Define a product roadmap and determine requirements for each release based on user requirements, technical architecture, and business needs.
  • Guide the product teams towards high value objectives and key results.
  • Handle education and adoption of platform features by internal development teams.
  • Coordinate and align requirements across multiple scrum teams operating in a sophisticated distributed software environment.
  • Communicate and evangelize the product area among the Workday community and at Workday's Rising and DevCon conferences.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers.

    About You
    Basic Qualifications

    • 6+ years of product management, engineering, or equivalent.
    • 4+ years working cross functionally with multiple technical and product teams.
    • 2+ years experience in crafting, developing, and deploying ML/AI models for real world applications.

      Other Qualifications

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
      • Experience with developer tools and Software as a Service (SaaS).
      • Ability to break down complexity, clearly articulate product requirements, and prioritize enhancement requests.
      • Excellent analytical abilities, including exploration, research, measurement, and monitoring.
      • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong self-motivation, problem solving, and execution skills.
      • Passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact on the developer community.
      • Experience with embedded PaaS products and tools.
      • Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
      • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
      • Experience with true ownership and accountability for growing a product area.
      • Enjoyment of your craft along with the desire to learn and grow with other Product Managers.
