Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a driven Senior Staff-level Product Manager who learns fast, who is humble and values teamwork; who is hungry and believes they can make our customer's world a much better place. The ideal candidate will be technical, data-driven, creative, and business savvy. They will be growth-oriented and able to strive for product-market fit with their teams. We also value strong leadership, asking our PMs to take on large, ambitious, and often ambiguous projects that can help extend our lead in the industry.

What You Will Be Doing

As a product manager on the Creatives team, you will be responsible for building the vision and strategy for The Trade Desk Creative products as well as integrations with best-in-class 3rd party solutions. This spans the front-end to the backend, from the creative management and approval process to serving ads to end users and everything in between. Configuring how ads are served is a critical phase in our customers’ journey and we play a central role in ensuring that we’re able to meet our users where they are and give them all the tools and data they need to be successful.

As a Creatives Product Manager at the Trade Desk, your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the strategy, roadmap and execution for Creative products.
  • Working closely with stakeholders across our Engineering, Data Science, and Business teams - helping to align on strategy and thinking through tradeoffs and customer impact.
  • Gathering customer requirements, designing prototypes, prioritizing and scoping releases that represent customers’ needs, and then working with the rest of the engineering team to bring those products to life and iterate on them over time.

What You Bring To The Table

  • You have built complex products that take years of iterations to become great.
  • You can easily find answers in data, and quickly iterate on the product.
  • 10+ years of Product Management experience in the Creatives space where you demonstrated a sustained track record of making significant contributions to impactful projects.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills both in large and small groups.

  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs.
  • Experience working with distributed teams.
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with practical, scalable solutions.

  • Entrepreneur -- you have a strong bias for action and use compelling, data-based arguments to convince others and generate progress with meaningful results
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to write detailed specifications that clearly articulate the ‘why’ behind the problem.
