Content Manager for Creative Projects

About the Role:

The Workshop LA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Content Manager for Creative Projects to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Marketing Manager in planning, organizing, and executing the overall creative content calendar.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional departments to oversee usage allocation and rights, ensuring legal safeguards are in place. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills to oversee the entire process from pre-production to post-production needs, including communication with external vendors and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing efficient campaign shoots, including execution, post, and approvals
  • Own image usage timelines, processes, and communication
  • Source and manage agency and freelance relationships
  • Help manage the casting and talent selection process
  • Manage short and long-term deadlines to ensure proper resources are available to meet all timelines
  • Oversee granular budget data and invoice communication with AP and vendors
  • Help organize and allocate creative content efficiently and clearly with cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop storylines and bring them to fruition with the creative team

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must show initiative and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Efficiency in bargaining and negotiation
  • Understanding of legal language as it pertains to usage rights
  • Process-oriented, implementing systems and initiatives to ensure the proper flow of projects
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Asana, with the ability to learn new systems as needed
  • Familiarity with Global Edit, Capture One, and Adobe is a plus

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Marketing, Photography, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of experience in film or photo production

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
