Medical Technologist - General - NEW Medical Technologist OR Medical Laboratory Scientist at an Industry Leading laboratory located in the Decatur area This laboratory is both a leader in transfusion services and a leading provider of diagnostic products.
This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full-time Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist for either day or evening shift
Responsibilities:
- Operation of equipment
- Documentation
- Product control
- Product handling and storage
- Serological and instrument testing
- Chemistries and red cell testing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology
- ASCP Certification as a MT|MLS or MLT
- Previous blood bank|transfusion medicine experience is highly desirable
