Description

The Senior FP&A Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and operations of Prelude LLC. Reporting to the CEO, this individual will lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes and manage the company's finance technology stack. This role is ideal for a finance professional looking to expedite their career growth and is crucial to Prelude’s continued growth and financial health.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the company’s annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
  • Oversee department budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage and optimize financial software tools to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Ensure healthy cash flow to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the leadership team to provide data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Contribute to initiatives that support growth, including headcount expansion, process scaling, and systems upgrades.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. CPA or CFA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally with exposure to a software or SaaS environment. Big 4 accounting background is a plus but not required. Deep expertise in designing and demonstrating technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and the ability to oversee the financial tech stack.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
