Job Title: Senior Program Manager - FP&A

Location: Seattle, WA or Austin, TX (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week)

Duration: 12 Months

Pay range: $85/Hr to $94/Hr on W2


HM Notes:

  • We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, FP&A contractor with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably up to 5-7 years.
  • Candidates with 10+ years of experience must have experience as an individual contributor (doing the day-to-day work) and not someone leading teams.
  • The focus is finding someone who has the PMO experience and can engage/manage multiple projects across multiple stakeholders.
  • Current/recent roles must be relevant to skill requirements.
  • PMO experience and candidate's performance/deliverables must be visible on resume.


Skills:

  • EPM Implementation has been moved to nice to have like traveler tech experience.
  • As of now, the manager is ok to having candidates who are PMO but know how to speak and understand finance; finance systems not required but a plus.
  • FP&A requirement is a plus, like systems, but general finance experience is required
  • PMO experience (PMO toolkit) is required to be able to deliver across a portfolio of FP&A projects and managing executive stakeholders
  • PMO Toolkit, strong project management experience, general finance knowledge, FP&A a plus, strong communication with internal stakeholders, decision making, documentation and process improvements, experience with PMO software such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and SharePoint. Exposure to cloud-based technology such as AWS.


Own and Manage:

  • You’ll own and manage lifecycle activities from beginning to end (planning, requirements gathering, technology team partnerships, UAT planning and performance, project closing, and stakeholder engagement) for multiple projects simultaneously.


Automate:

  • You’ll work on automation projects and lead the coordination of designing processes and tools to make financial statement processes easier and more accurate.


Consult:

  • You’ll operate as a valued consultant to partner with many different FP&A stakeholder teams across client Group.


Make Decisions:

  • You’ll be an empowered, impactful decision maker who drives the direction of a project to completion.


Is there any industry specific experience that would separate one candidate from another?

  • Successful candidates for this position will have extensive professional experience working with financial processes, project management, finance requirements documentation, process design, and user acceptance testing responsibilities.
  • They will have developed a passion for delivering process improvement across the finance organization.

They are expected to have a deep sense of ownership, and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities, drive positive change across the organization, and enhance partnerships between FP&A and various finance and IT groups.
