Job Description

The 7th Floor Medical and Oncology unit is a beacon of excellence in patient care, where a positive and collaborative culture thrives. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals, from doctors and nurses to support staff, work seamlessly together to provide compassionate and comprehensive care. This unity fosters an environment where every team member’s expertise is valued, and patient needs are met with both precision and empathy. The Clinical Unit Clerk is a member of the multidisciplinary health care team that delivers quality patient care and acts as a conduit of communication in the nursing station regarding all unit patient care activities to ensure efficient coordination of the unit activities. Exhibits good organizational, time management and teamwork skills, which contribute to the management and efficient operation of the unit.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Vocational / Technical Degree: Business, Health Care related studies (Preferred)
  • 2 - 4 years Prior Clinical Unit Clerk experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (Preferred)
  • Strong verbal communication skills, strong written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, general clerical skills, basic computer skills, strong customer service skills
