As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role within this leading financial services firm, directly influencing workforce development and key HR initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with leaders to create and implement programs that enhance talent, structure, and culture in collaboration with the HR Leader.
  • Oversee the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and selection through assessment of employment firms, database platforms, and job boards.
  • Conduct reference checks, review compensation recommendations, and extend job offers.
  • Assess the effectiveness of recruiting plans and strategies.
  • Capture and analyze recruiting metrics, developing reports, time to hire, cost per search, and acceptance rates.
  • Stay updated on talent trends relevant to the company’s business objectives.
  • Analyze market conditions in the geographic location.
  • Coordinate and implement recruitment initiatives at universities and colleges.
  • Manage all recruiting-related social media efforts.
  • Oversee the improvement and maintenance of the new hire orientation process.
  • Support the performance management process, including employee goal setting, career development, and professional development tools.
  • Work with the executive HR Leader on performance management, identifying training needs/programs.
  • Address employee performance concerns and collaborate with hiring managers to develop improvement plans.
  • Identify gaps and propose necessary changes to improve processes.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the company’s databases and performance management, benefits administration, and renewal responsibilities.
  • Prepare and deliver people metrics, such as turnover costs and performance trends.
  • Develop and enhance Human Resources processes and policies.

Ideal Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preferred concentration in human resources management.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of generalist Human Resources experience.
  • Self-directed, ready to learn, and able to pair with and contribute to a strong team.
  • Exceptional financial modeling ability and presentation compilation skills.
  • Extreme attention to detail, able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, intellectually curious, collaborative, and consistent ownership of work product.
  • High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills and familiarity with standard HCM and financial databases.
