Senior Corporate Tax Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant - Corporate Taxation will assist with quarterly and year-end tax provisions, focusing on ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes. This role reports to the Associate Director of Tax, a seasoned professional dedicated to supporting your success. While experience with OneSource Tax Provision is preferred, it is not required.
Responsibilities- Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end tax provisions
- Collaborate with the accounting team on ASC 740 and tax provision calculations
- Work with our outside accounting firm on financial audits and the filing of our yearly tax return
- Review and ensure the accuracy of tax returns
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality and timely tax services
- Provide support and assistance to other members of the tax team as needed
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a comparable field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience with exposure to ASC 740
- Comprehensive understanding of tax law with ability to proficiently perform tax research when necessary
- Proficiency in reviewing federal and state C-corporation tax returns
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA and/or MST
- Advanced Excel skills
- Exposure to OneSource Tax Provision software
*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
