Primary Accountability:

The Marketing and Sales Lead ensures that all sales, marketing, online, social media & print advertising initiatives improve company sales and brand awareness. The ideal sales and marketing responsibilities include leading our direct & indirect sales channels, implementing various methods of collecting target customer data, managing contracted groups who develop & determine content, planning marketing schedules, participating in trade shows, and organizing promotional events. This role also researches competitors' products and services, pricing, and market success.


Major Duties:

  1. Develops and sustains long-lasting relationships with key customers.
  2. Manages outside contractors to assure utilization of social media and online platforms to garner customer interest and create brand awareness.
  3. Leads direct and indirect sales channels.
  4. Prepares sales forecast reports tracking against budget.
  5. Prepares, reviews, and finalizes strategic sales proposals.
  6. Develops effective sales strategies to increase company sales.
  7. Collaborates with the marketing design and content marketing teams to produce quality advertising material for company products and services.
  8. Maintains an accurate record of past campaign results to determine the most effective marketing approaches.
  9. Analyzes market trends, sales, and marketing metrics, as well as pricing strategies to identify ways to improve sales and marketing efforts.
  10. Performs additional duties as assigned by the CEO.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field is preferred.
  2. Minimum of two (2) years’ recent sales management experience.
  3. Proven experience working in sales or marketing.
  4. Strong knowledge of online & social media advertising and marketing campaigns.
  5. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and marketing software.
  6. Sound knowledge of sales and marketing metrics.
  7. The ability to anticipate consumer behavior.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  9. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  10. Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
  11. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  12. Exceptional customer service skills.
  13. Ability to attend night or weekend meetings and work nights and weekends as required on an intermittent basis.
  14. Ability to demonstrate a personality which is pleasant, cooperative, and mature.
  15. Ability to maintain effective work relations with management, department heads, cooperative officials, contractors, consultants, employees, and the general public.

Physical Demands:

  1. Ability to walk and stand to a significant degree. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Ability to stand, lift, carry, push, pull, balance, stoop, reach, handle, talk, hear, see, grasp, move head and neck and movement across mid-line.
  3. Ability to lift up-to thirty (30) pounds.
  4. Finger dexterity, manual dexterity, alertness, precision, form perception, motor coordination, auditory discrimination and tactile discrimination.

Work Environment:

  1. Professional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting.
  2. Interact with staff, members and customers.
  3. Frequently stressful atmosphere with long or irregular hours.
