As a Staff Development Nurse , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring staff are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and resources to provide outstanding care. You will assist in employee health compliance, training, recruitment , and educational programs , promoting adherence to regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities:
* Health and Compliance : Administer and track employee TB screenings, Hepatitis B, and flu vaccinations.
* Staff Training : Coordinate and lead orientations, in-services, and competency programs, ensuring certifications and training are up-to-date.
* Employee Development : Assist with obtaining CEU accreditation for programs and nursing competencies.
* Infection Control : Monitor compliance, conduct investigations, and implement control measures.
* Recruitment : Participate in peer interviews to attract and retain top talent.
* Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of screenings, vaccinations, and educational completions.
You ll also uphold CHI Living Communities mission and values in every interaction, contributing to a collaborative and supportive environment. What You Need for This Role:
* Education : Must hold an Associate s Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.
* Licensure : Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio is required.
* Experience :
* Previous nursing experience, ideally in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
* Staff development or training experience is a plus.
* Certifications :
* CPR and First Aid certifications required.
* BBET certification is preferred but not required.
* Skills and Abilities :
* Strong knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills .
* Ability to organize and lead educational programs effectively.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to track, report, and analyze compliance data.

Schedule Details:
