- Draft and staff documents designed to implement novel concepts and mature existing ones, including concepts of operation, and tactics techniques and procedures.
- Conduct preliminary planning, site surveys, and concept development through exercise execution, including participation in planning conferences and technical working groups.
- Develop and present professional briefings, trip reports, white papers, and other informational documents designed to inform senior decision-makers and, when appropriate, recommend courses of action.

- Contribute to synchronization of objectives, activities, and investments (OAI) in a matrix organization with multiple functional areas and provide written reports and briefs to senior military audiences.
