As the Senior Director of Perioperative Services, you will lead a dedicated surgical services team comprised of approximately 20 full-time Registered Nurses, additional per diem/travel nurses, anesthesiologists, techs, and other professional staff. This unit includes multiple Operating Rooms, handling around 50 cases per month with specialties primarily in orthopedic and general surgery. Experience in expanding service lines is a significant plus, as the hospital plans to include Urology and Podiatry cases. You will be supported by an OR/SPD Manager, a Pre-Op/PACU Nurse Manager, and a Wound Manager, reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and organize inpatient nursing operations and resources.
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Manage financial aspects and develop performance improvement initiatives.
  • Implement standardized workflows to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and current Registered Nursing License.
  • Prior leadership experience in Perioperative Services.
  • BSN required; MSN preferred.
