A leading acute care hospital located in southeastern Texas is now seeking an experienced Inpatient Physical Therapist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

Recognized as a vital part of the local community, this organization provides a range of healthcare services, including emergency care, surgical procedures, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, and specialized clinics. This medical center is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to every patient, promoting overall wellness, and improving the overall health of the community through comprehensive and compassionate care. This facility is home to just under 100-beds.

Reporting to the Director of Rehab Services, the Inpatient Physical Therapist will provide direct patient care in an acute care setting. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient documentation, developing personalized physical therapy plans, monitors patient treatments and response to treatments, consults with physician teams, provides instruction on home care, assists with training in-house clinical staff, supervises the Physical Therapy Assistants, and serves as an active member in the department quality control program. 

What Makes You Awesome:

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
  • Prior working experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Current knowledge of physical therapy practices
