Human Resources Specialist/Payroll

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Specialist to join the teamUnder general supervision, responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll process and ensuring employees are paid on-time and accurately. Also responsible for performing payroll related functions and reporting, as well as general human resource functions, including answering employee questions, addressing/resolving employee concerns, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED plus three (3) years of experience* working in Human Resources including experience working with a web-based payroll system (preferably Paycom).
Associates degree in a related field plus one (1) year of experience* working in Human Resources including experience working with a web-based payroll system (preferably Paycom).
*Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of certification, education, and experience (including work experience at COPE) sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
