Job Purpose: 
In this position, your primary focus will be on analyzing and providing technical support in the design and development of total rewards programs, plans, and structures that support the business strategy across AHM, HDMA, and affiliates to conduct data-driven analyses, identify trends, and recommend strategic enhancements.  Total Rewards at Honda includes the following areas: compensation, associate benefits and wellness, retirement plans, and recognition.  You'll work closely with the Compensation and Benefit Operations teams, business leaders, HR leaders, and HR Business Partners to conduct data-driven analyses, identify trends, and recommend strategic enhancements. Your role will involve leveraging analytics to ensure that our programs, plans, and structures effectively support the needs of all associates while aligning with the overarching business strategy. This position will need to ensure they are kept up-to-date with best practice approaches and kept apprised of federal, state, and local applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Key Accountabilities:
•    Utilizes advanced research and technical expertise and analysis in delivering innovative total rewards programs/plans for HR that advance’s Honda’s associate value proposition for the attraction, retention, and engagement of current and future associates.  Involved in the development, implementation, integration, and communication of updates to existing or new programs and policies, ensuring market competitiveness and cost effectiveness while providing key analytics and insights.
•    Provides research and support in monitoring the effectiveness of total rewards programs, plans, policies, and procedures and recommends enhancements or revisions when needed to meet company objectives; ensuring to partner and account for feedback and input from the Compensation and Benefits Operations teams. Conduct trend analysis to identify patterns and anomalies, providing recommendations for program improvements.  Collaborates, counsels, and advises on program enhancements/changes; leading strategic initiatives and ensures clarity regarding deliverables, deadlines, resources, and communication plans.
•    Supports and advises in setting total rewards strategy and direction for AHM, HDMA, and affiliates. Partners with the Compensation and Benefit Operations teams on any new or changes to existing programs, offerings, and processes related to total rewards program or plan design and administration.
•    Collaborates with the Compensation and Benefits Operations team when coordinating with vendors on enhancements/changes to existing offerings and/or the addition of new offerings; works closely with broker and vendors to conduct benchmark analysis to identify trends in industry and with competitors to provide competitive and cutting-edge total rewards programs.
•    Provides data and trend analysis and uses business intelligence to ensure data integrity and accuracy while collaborating with HR Technology and all HR Operations teams to ensure holistic approach to how key total rewards data is managed and integrated.  Collaborates to identify necessary changes in processes to ensure efficient and accurate workflow and the best utilization of system capabilities.
•    Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
 
Required Work Experience: 
•    Minimum 5-7 years’ total rewards experience in building and leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions to then design, develop and implement total rewards programs, plans, and structures
•    Including experience managing total rewards project implementations
•    Knowledge of domestic and international healthcare plans; with knowledge of benefit cost forecasting and budgeting and knowledge of non-exempt, exempt, and executive compensation administration; union experience a plus
•    Advanced Analytical and problem solving skills; proficient in MS Office Software with advanced Excel and business intelligence tools skills


Required Education:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance or applicable field (or equivalent experience)
Desired Skills: 
•    Ability to work independently, effectively manage time, and meet deadlines
•    Ability to develop advanced analytics from multiple data sources, interpret and analyze trends, and develop meaningful recommendations in a logical concise way 
•    Ability to utilize advanced statistical techniques and software to analyze complex datasets related to total reward programs
•    Ability to interpret and present data findings to stakeholders, providing actionable insights
•    Familiarity with HR Systems data set-up; SuccessFactors experience desired
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    World at work certification desired, not required
