Job Overview

Wayne State University seeks a collaborative leader who is a proactive communicator and tireless connector to serve as the inaugural Vice President for Enterprise Planning and Operational Excellence (VP). The VP will provide vision and University-wide leadership in the development of systems and processes that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of planning, analysis, reporting, and decision-making across administrative and academic divisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create new institutional capacity to allocate resources and measure their use.
  • Lead the development of enterprise technology services and business intelligence tools.
  • Support the implementation of effective service management practices across the university.
  • Integrate and elevate local best practices into an enterprise function.
