• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license prior to placement start.

Weekend/Call requirements: Apheresis only. Based on unit needs

  • Apheresis procedures performed: Plasma Exchange, White Blood Cell depletions, Platelet depletions and Red blood Cell exchanges.
  • Therapeutic Phlebotomies (M-F only)
  • Outpatient blood product transfusions (M-F only)
  • HPCA (stem cell ) collections (M-F only)
  • ECP’s Extracorporeal
  • Photopheresis) (M-F only)
  • Equipment: THERAKOS® CELLEX® Photopheresis System (used for photophoresis procedures), Hemacue device for manual hemoglobin fingerstick testing, Spectra Optia Apheresis System (used for Apheresis and HPCA collections), Butterfly IQ (hand held ultrasound device)
  • Patient Diagnoses: Hematology/Oncology related (i.e. leukemia, multiple myeloma, lymphoma), Graft vs. Host disease, - Hemochromatosis, Polycythemia vera, Sickle cell disease, Hodgkin’s disease
