Reporting to the Manager of Neonatal Services, the NICU Assistant RN Manager will manage a 46-bed unit, and an experienced team of NICU Nurses and support staff. The NICU Assistant RN Manager will be well supported by their counterpart, a Women and Children’s Assistant Nurse Manager, and NICU Charge Nurses. Working with Women’s and Children’s leadership, the NICU Assistant RN Manager will be responsible for managing staff and maintaining the standard of care in the department.
The NICU Assistant RN Manager will be responsible for guiding nursing practice, hiring, and promoting staff performance improvement initiatives. The NICU Assistant RN Manager will oversee the departmental budget and be responsible for quality improvement of the unit.
