Job Title: NICU Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate NICU Nurse to join our team at Geisinger's Janet Weis Children's Hospital in Danville.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work in a Level IV NICU, providing the highest level of neonatal medical and surgical intensive care for premature infants.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for stable infants with varying levels of acuity, including those requiring respiratory support and transport for diagnostic studies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Attending's, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Residents, and Respiratory Therapists.
  • Participate in daily and evening rounds, contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
  • Utilize strong assessment and clinical skills to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work effectively in a team-oriented setting, prioritizing patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in a Level IV NICU or equivalent setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
