What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an Engineering Intern. Our Engineering Internships are project-based internships in development on New product development, or operational. This role will assist engineering management with skill and experience-level appropriate research, modeling, design, and/or engineering documentation with existing workflows with increasing complexity. You will be part of a team to develop and implement new projects in production.

What you’ll be responsible for in this role:

  1. Develop technical expertise to ensure the quality of all design documents and their changes by applying configuration management and drafting standards.
  2. Gain understanding of the basic Input and accuracy of the bill off materials (BOM) database(s) – product design information.
  3. Gain understanding in the Engineering Change Notification process.
  4. Knowledge/experience in CAD, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  5. Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

What are the basic qualifications?

Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

What are the preferred qualifications?

  1. Rising Junior to rising Senior Level progressing towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial.
  2. Analytical and conceptual thinking, using logic and reason, creative and strategic thinking.
  3. Effective statistical analysis skills.
  4. Effective research and communication skills.
  5. Effective with written and oral communications.
  6. Problem solving – being able to solve complex problems effectively and efficiently.
