Exciting opportunity to be a project engineer in a Greenfield Project and an already existing facility Your skills in both Greenfield and Brownfield Project Engineering will be utilized and well-compensated.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing projects including but not limited to new facility structures, existing facility modifications, maintenance replacement projects, and Turnaround Projects.


The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating the design, fabrication and installation of a project while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental integrity. Additionally the project engineer will coordinate interfaces between the 3rd party contractors and the Company functions of Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Turnaround Planning, Regulatory, etc.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil or other Engineering or a Project Management Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of related experience in a petrochemical, refinery, LNG operations facility.
  • Experience as a Project Engineer in full life cycle of a project (CAPEX of $1M+)
  • Experience with cryogenic refrigeration, gas processing and/or steam preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plant installations and specifications with experience in accepted industry procedures, safety and environmental policies.

  • Project development, contracting, execution, and closeout/transfer to operations
  • Planning & budgeting
  • Turnaround Planning and execution
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and piping in a plant environment during engineering, construction, commissioning phases leading to operational readiness
  • Acute sensitivity to safety issues and precautions in a hazardous operating environment.
