Overview of Position:
Provide QA / Engineering assistance to ensure internal / customer expectations and standard requirements are met in timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
o Supports QE in each phase of the quality assurance activities including QA Documents (Receiving / Finish Goods Inspection Stds.), IMDS submissions and approvals, process documentation audits of new and current projects to ensure content and schedules meet internal and customer are met.
o Supports SQE / QE with supplier / customer submission requests / review such as PPAP, Change point Management Documentation and other requests.
o Quality Alert Matrix - Organizes and Track Open / Closed Status Matrix. / confirms documentation / validates all Closed Quality Issues - Countermeasure Activities Confirmation for effectiveness before formally closing out internally.
o IATF 16949 Descriptions below is to support and back up IATF Coordinator as need basis:
o Controls the documentation of the IATF 16949 quality management system through the review of documents, revising as needed, entering documentation into specified software package, publishing and routing documents for approvals, designating document status and deleting obsolete documents from the electronic media system.
o Organizes and coordinates IATF 16949 internal audits by training auditors, establishing audit teams, preparing an audit plan and representative the audit team to management.
o Plans and conducts IATF 16949 audits according to established guidelines and applicable requirements, ensuring adherence at all phases.
o Compiles and presents to management the results of audits reviewing adequacy of existing quality and environmental compliance systems and non-conformances found, verification of the corrective action plans, and recommends compliance.

o Performs and/or participates in daily 5S housekeeping, team activities, dress codes, safety rules and all other applicable company policies and procedures.
o Must have excellent communication skills, team player and flexibility to support entire team as needed.
o Must have computer skills such as Microsoft (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) / Data Entry / Email)
o Performs / Supports all other duties as requested by QA Management.
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Must have a thorough knowledge of company quality system, ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 requirements, company products, terminology, manufacturing procedures and processes. Must know product design specifications and quality standards of finished product as well as parts/materials used. Must know quality audit techniques. Requires the ability to maintain records and files, prepare recaps and reports. Requires the ability to read and interpret product prints and design specifications. Must have good computer skills and be familiar with specified software programs/ applications. Must be familiar with company policies, procedures and requirements for new product implementation. Must have good communications skills and know company guidelines for maintaining positive customer relations.
