We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Tax Manager to join the National Tax team
CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Serve as a Manager on specific client accounts
- Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
- Develop detailed engagement work plans
- Illustrate budgets and schedules
- Writing memos and tax alerts
- Complete internal and external presentations
- Actively participate in proposals
- Research complex federal income tax law
- Manage and train staff and senior associates
- Create tax models and checklists to be used by other members of the federal tax team
- Be a tax technical resource to firm partners and employees
YOUR EXPERIENCE.
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Tax is a plus
- Must have experience preparing and reviewing the following types of tax returns: Passthrough entity tax returns including 1065 &1120-S
- CPA, LLM or JD is preferred
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience
- Strong tax research skills
- Excellent communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills, as well as exceptional client service skills
- Proven competence with MS Office and tax compliance and research software, including ProSystem, BNA portfolio and projection, CCH Axcess, and RIA
