*Chiropractic Office Assistant*

*Our local client is seeking a seasoned Chiropractic Office Assistant who can interact well with patients and make them feel welcome and comfortable.*

*Requirements*

* Pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
* Basic knowledge of Word and Excel is helpful. Most computer work is on a chiropractic patient management billing software program.
* Previous front office management experience is highly desired.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
* Accounts receiving and collections experience is preferred.

*Job Duties*

* Greet patients entering a chiropractic facility and provide patients with education about different chiropractic procedures.
* Schedule appointments in person or on the telephone.
* Take and verify insurance information from patients and determine charges for chiropractic procedures based on their insurance coverage.
* Prepare accurate charts and prepare procedure rooms in accordance to chiropractor's instructions, including chart notes and lab results.
* Perform dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming of the front office area for a neat presentation. Disinfect all tables daily.
* Assist chiropractor with patient evaluations regarding weight loss program and body wrap procedures.
* Maintain patient's account and financial information in a professional manner and assist in collections of delinquent accounts.
* Ensure appropriate filing and record-keeping procedures, including data entry.
* Act as a liaison between chiropractor and patients by relaying information correctly.

*Schedule*

* Part-time 30/hrs per week, Mon/Wed/Thur 10 am to 6 pm, increased hours after completion of training.
* Business hours are: 12 pm to 6 pm Monday, 9 am to 6 pm Tue/Wed/Thur and 9 am to 12 pm on Friday.

*Rate of Pay*

* Starting wage is $17 to $20/hour depending on experience. Bonus incentives available.
* Employer will pay for Chiropractic Assistant Certification.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
