The RN Manager Emergency Department will help lead an experienced team through all day to day operations across a busy, level I trauma department. This Nurse Manager will assist with department staffing, educational needs, orientation, budgeting, resource management, and ensuring highest quality of patient care delivery on the evening/night shifts. This RN Manager will also be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives, and ensuring all hospital, local, state, and federal rules and regulations are upheld across multiple departments.
Requirements include:
- Active NYS RN license
- 3+ years of clinical experience in an ED setting (ideally in a level I trauma center)
- previous RN leadership experience (Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager, Coordinator, etc.)
