\*Job Overview\* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and demonstrate proficiency in critical care settings. This role is essential for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, particularly in a Level II Trauma Center environment. As an LPN, you will work closely with registered nurses and physicians to ensure the well-being of our patients. \*Duties\* - Conduct physical examinations and assist in the diagnostic evaluation of patients. - Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. - Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team. - Assist with neonatal ventilator management for critically ill newborns. - Perform phlebotomy procedures as required for laboratory testing. - Support patients during their stay in an inpatient setting, ensuring comfort and safety. - Participate in the administration of Botulinum toxin treatment under supervision. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. \*Requirements\* - Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. - Experience or training in critical care nursing preferred. - Familiarity with sonography techniques is a plus. - Ability to lift and assist patients as needed, adhering to safety protocols. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. - Commitment to providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations. - Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
