In this strategic role, you will implement transformative solutions using leading platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Databricks. You will also play a critical role in turning that high-level vision into a detailed technical design and lead the cloud delivery team in developing the solution. This high-impact leadership role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and operational acumen to drive business results and foster client success.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and craft a comprehensive technical vision that aligns with their goals.
  2. Design and develop advanced technical frameworks, detailed architectures, and reusable components to ensure repeatability and standardization.
  3. Develop and scale operations across global teams, with a focus on optimizing offshore delivery capabilities.
  4. Collaborate with clients and other Acxiom architects on application design and tech-stack selection.
  5. Participate in presales activities to develop client proposals, RFP responses, SOW creation, and developing demos.
  6. Collaborate with project/program managers to align technical roadmaps with future-state planning and enhancements.
  7. Engage in hands-on issue resolution for clients, ensuring technical challenges are addressed with innovative solutions.
  8. Mentor senior engineers and other team members on technical, communication & interpersonal skills.
  9. Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
  10. Ensure all projects are documented effectively and facilitate knowledge transfer before completion.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field is required.
  2. 15+ years of professional experience, with 7+ years in senior architect roles leading large, global cloud delivery teams.
  3. Extensive experience in designing, developing, and delivering marketing technology solutions (e.g., CDPs, Clean Rooms).
  4. Hands-on expertise in public cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
  5. Hands-on expertise in cloud-native data cloud platforms like Snowflake and/or Databricks, preferably with a technical certification.
  6. Demonstrated expertise in cloud topics like data storage, cloud deployment, security, governance, infrastructure as code, etc.
  7. Deep experience in DevOps culture within multidisciplinary teams, and focus on building fully automated CI/CD environments.
  8. Proficiency in a programming language of your choice, preferably Python.
  9. Proficiency in SQL and other commercial/open-source data extraction, transform, and load toolsets.
  10. Proficiency in cloud-native OLAP and NoSQL databases and associated cloud-native data engineering and machine learning automated pipelines.
  11. Experience shaping and setting up successful cloud offerings from architectural to production point of view (end to end).
  12. Ability to grasp the big picture and develop a roadmap for operationalization.
  13. Demonstrated ability to lead geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with top management.
  14. Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and collaboration across diverse teams and cultures.
