Job Summary

The School of City & Regional Planning (SCaRP) () at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in City & Regional Planning. Applicants will be considered at the Assistant or Associate Professor level with an expected start date of August 2025. We seek applications from community-engaged scholars whose research speaks to questions of civic engagement, social and racial justice, participatory methods, collaborative planning, and the role of technology in communities. We hope to find a colleague who can also meaningfully contribute to the success of a new undergraduate major that SCaRP plans to launch in the near future. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
Required Qualifications

A doctoral degree in planning or a related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with a promising scholarly trajectory and teaching experience are preferred. The ability to adopt teaching strategies that support the learning and success of all students and promote a welcoming educational/work environment is especially preferred.Student Success Criteria
