The Assistant Manager will oversee the daily operations of the department and provide effective leadership to nursing staff. They will also develop and implement educational programs, ensuring ongoing professional development and competency of nursing personnel. The Assistant Manager will be involved with recruitment, hiring, and orientation of staff and foster a positive and collaborative work environment. They will also monitor and staff performance, and offer personnel guidance and coaching for professional growth.

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in emergency nursing, with demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities.
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
