About the Role:

NHP have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Business Development Representative based in Perth.

Reporting to the Sales Manager - WA, you will have full flexibility and ownership in increasing NHP’s market share throughout the Metro region. With a deep understanding of your customers, you will develop the best and most effective sales proposals in the market, tapping into wider resources within the business.

Predominantly working with Switchboard Builders in the Electrical sector, who also deal with Electrical contractors, end users, OEM’s & control panel builders.

Technical training & support provided At the cornerstone of NHP’s success, technical training and business support tools are high upon the agenda for personal & professional growth. With a variety of expertly developed programs that are both internal and externally produced, they position NHP as a market leader in the field of staff training.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Building & maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to achieve designated sales targets.
  2. Developing and implementing sales strategies utilising available marketing programs.
  3. Coordination of customer presentations, highlighting products, solutions & service capabilities and how they improve outcomes.

Ideally you will have / be:

  1. Electrical or Electrical engineering related qualification or experience (highly regarded).
  2. A strong Sales background, servicing Switchboard Builder customer groups.
  3. An ability to ‘listen to the customer’ & translate needs into business solutions.
  4. Exceptional communicator with strong influencing & relationship building skills.
  5. Highly motivated with a drive to succeed.
  6. Effective time management & organizational skills.
