YOUR ROLE

Lead a team of Automation Engineers to support the preparation of proposals for new business opportunities, renewals of current customer contracts, and re-engineering current operations by identifying vendors, engineering and costing automated operations.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  1. Lead a team of automation engineers to support proposals, renewals and re-engineering activities to support CEVA business and profit growth objectives.
  2. Hire/train/upskill engineers.
  3. Work with Design Solution engineers, Pricing Analysts, BDs and Program Managers to schedule, prepare and submit proposals for new business and renewals on a timely basis.
  4. Develop relationships with automated equipment vendors and proactively evaluate and recommend automated equipment vendors for certification by GHO.
  5. Support the implementation of automated operations and equipment as needed.
  6. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the Solution Design team.
  7. Incorporate green initiatives into CEVA proposals when appropriate and in conjunction with employee support of local communities.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Education and Experience
  • A BS degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 10+ years’ experience engineering, selecting and implementing DCs with automation equipment.
  • Supporting 3PL new business proposals by engineering automated DCs.
Skills:
  • Knowledge/experience of DC operations.
  • Knowledge/experience/relationships with automation equipment vendors.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills.
  • Ability to communicate/work with executive leaders.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Presentation skills to potential customers and CEVA executive leadership.
Characteristics:
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills demonstrated a history of developing relationships and building trust, and an ability to work independently & in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
