In this new position, you will play a critical role in helping drive the transformation of enterprise systems that support business execution, performance, and accountability. Reporting to the CFO and the CIO, you will be responsible for the coordinated delivery of a new enterprise solution that transforms current business processes to a new technology framework.

Finance plays a comprehensive role in enterprise management. Your insights on business planning, management, reporting, and control are core requirements in ensuring that our new solution is aligned with business operations and grounded in financial integrity.

Key requirements for success include:

  • Understand “End to End” process flows
  • Understand Core Transactions in bakery production
  • Understand Key Business Transaction themes:

    • Transaction records
      • Sales / customers
      • Procurement / suppliers
      • Payroll / employees / labor costing
      • Inventory / standards / workflows
      • Capital / OEMs / budgeting
    • Transaction processes
      • Order to cash (Sales cycle)
      • Procure to pay (Purchases cycle)
      • Order to build (Manufacturing cycle)
      • Plan to ship (Logistics)
      • Record to Consolidation (Reporting)

  • Understand Dimensionality of Organizing Data for Reporting
  • Ability to multi-task, conceptualize, communicate clearly
  • Desire to provide leadership and energy toward execution

Qualifications

  • Possess a solid understanding of accounting systems (from a capabilities perspective) and accounting processes (from a business perspective)
  • Strong practical knowledge of financial and operational business processes
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Knowledge of project/process design, testing, and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Focus on the optimization and implementation of a new enterprise management system across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross subject area team members to validate project assumptions and ensure accurate documentation of scope of work
  • Drive the efforts of the Finance team (which includes Accounting, Commercial, Operations, Treasury, Procurement, Tax and Risk) to execute workstreams supporting the overall project plan:
    • Gather requirements from the Finance team and assist in optimizing enterprise processes that integrate with Finance oversight
    • Identify suitable technology solutions to be applied for management review and approval
  • Collaborate with IT to manage all aspects of technology projects, including:
    • Assessing new technology solutions and providing recommendations for Finance and Operational management
    • Managing the scope and timeline of all Finance related technology projects
    • Assessing potential future impact of new initiatives to the Finance team
    • Lead the process design and project management process
  • Transition of Existing Business Management Systems:
    • Provide business analysis and accounting systems knowledge support transition or integration of established modules including Jedox, Ariba, Tibersoft, Blujay, Concur, etc
    • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions by applying SME knowledge of applications and accounting processes
    • Participate in supporting current applications, including maintenance, issue resolution, user administration, enhancements, and upgrades

Primary Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; CPA desirable
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in leading projects of medium to large scale and implement change initiatives as a technical expert within a specified product or process area
  • Possess a solid understanding of accounting systems (from a capabilities perspective) and accounting processes (from a business perspective).
  • Food & Beverage industry/accounting knowledge and ERP systems (SAP ECC and S4/HANA) experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to actively listen to other points of view, adapt messaging based on audience and influence

Noteworthy Qualifications:

  • CPA or CMA license, or equivalent
  • PMP or other professional project management certification
  • Six Sigma certification
