We are looking for a competent Collection specialist to contact clients and collect outstanding payments, You will struck a balance between maintaining trustful relationships, and ensuring timely payments.
Our Collection Specialist should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
Our company is looking for an experienced and motivated collections specialist to join our dynamic collections team.
Your duties will include processing customer refunds, reviewing account alterations, resolving client inconsistencies, and collecting overdue payments.
This role requires someone with the ability to balance between maintaining trustful relationships and guaranteeing timely payments.
You should possess outstanding communication and negotiation skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of laws and policies related to debt collection.


Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of collections practices, laws, and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve targets and deadlines.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in using collections software and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to collections challenges.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all records and communications.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in collections, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to collections, including fair debt collection practices.
Proficiency in using collections software and systems.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collections targets.
Strong understanding of financial statements and credit evaluation.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills & Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance
3-5 years of experience in credit and collections
Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred:
Management experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Billing or coding experience

SALARY EXPECTATION:
On average, a collection Manager earns $125,000 a year. This salary
estimate is based on $10,500 monthly,
salaries that were submitted to LinkedIn and other hiring sites
anonymously by various Collection Manager employees, as well as
those collected from present and past job advertisements in LinkedIn
and other hiring sites over the past three years. Typically,
a Collection Manager should serve the company for 2-5 years.
