This position is located within the Office of Chief Financial Officer, Field Based Operations Division, Disaster Readiness and Support Unit and will support disaster operations by serving as an analyst and advisor on a wide array of disaster financial matters.

To qualify for this Financial Management Specialist position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate all of the following:

  • Resolving complex issues related to the financial aspects of programs.
  • Analyzing data and providing recommendations for decision-making related to spend planning, and/or financial policy formulation and implementation.
  • Providing briefings, preparing presentations, reports, and guidance documents related to financial management.
