ETL Engineer

We need an experienced data engineer like you to help our clients find answers in their big data to impact important missions

Here, you will work with multiple platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies gathering requirements and design and develop ETL processes to transform information from multiple sources. You'll design, implement, and manage databases and data delivery systems and transform them into insights, analysis, and reporting. You'll maintain responsibility for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ETL workflows and scripts. You'll work with structured and unstructured data, ETL, data wrangling, data ingest, and data access. You'll leverage knowledge of data modeling, ETL, SQL scripting, and analytical expertise.

You Have:

4+ years of experience in stream processing pipelines with Apache NiFi

1+ years of experience with JSON and parsing

Experience building and maintaining data flows in NiFi

Experience with ETL development and processes, including creating high-level ETL plans consisting of Source to Target mappings

Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows

Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data

Experience with data flow processes and tools

Experience with SQL, including writing complex SQL scripts, Oracle, and Server

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree in CS

Nice If You Have:

Experience with data security and compliance procedures and policies

Experience with Data Marts and Data Warehouses

Experience with Dimensional Modeling and Relational Databases

Experience with Data Modeling concepts

Experience with Java, Python, Perl, or Bash

Experience with Source code management and integration

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA or Confluence, or GitHub

Knowledge of overall IC agency processes and policies

Ability to design ETL processes, including keeping business rules in mind for data quality purposes

Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
