LOCATION: This position is based in our Tinley Park and Lemont Locations

REPORTS TO: Practice Operations Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

We're seeking a Temporary Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our physician.

This temporary position offers the potential to transition into a permanent role, depending on the candidate's performance and the ongoing needs of the department. Additionally, we're offering a $250 sign-on bonus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Interview patients to gather medical history and update medical records
Gather basic vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, height, weight, and pulse
Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exam
Sterilize instruments and set-up in-office procedure trays
Manage medical supplies and materials and work with their operational leader to order necessary inventory
Take x-rays
Perform administrative tasks and become cross-trained on front desk responsibilities to provide support when needed

SCHEDULE:

A typical schedule for this position is: Monday-Friday and 1 Saturday a month, availability if needed to match the practice.

Requirements:

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED required, higher or continuing education a plus.
Medical Assistant certification with 2 years in a healthcare position desired.
