We are seeking a senior project manager, communications who will help build and support a world-class Communications function by creating foundational processes to help manage and track internal communications projects and initiatives across the organization. As we evolve, grow and transform how we communicate both internally and externally at Lennar, this role will be critical in driving the success of the Communications team by providing operational, strategic, and administrative support. The senior project manager, communications would report to the SVP, Communications with a strong working relationship with the Company’s head of PMO and his team.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Create a framework for how we coordinate, disseminate and track all internal communications at Lennar to ensure that information is shared with our Associates in the most effective way

  • Lead and manage communication projects from start to finish, including developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring adherence to project milestones and deadlines

  • Coordinate with internal teams across the organization, on both the corporate and divisional level, to ensure timely and successful execution of communication initiatives

  • Proactively build and manage relationships with leaders and partners across the organization, assisting them in communication planning and ensuring all associate-facing communications are delivered to the right audience, at the right time, with the right message, and through the right channels

  • Develop and manage a master calendar of internal communications and key business milestones

  • Streamline tools and platforms currently being used for communications and research and implement better, more efficient systems and processes • Help drive adoption, engagement, and interaction across internal communication platforms and tools

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of communications and report on performance • Prioritize competing projects and requests, manage multiple initiatives and ensure continued focus on key strategic communications projects and objectives • Drive operational excellence within the Communications team • Streamline processes, implement best practices and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Communications team including managing budgets and vendor invoicing

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and reports for internal meetings

Your Toolbox

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on communications, marketing, business or related fields

  • Preferred experience of 3-5 years in project management, change management and/or operations

  • Highly organized, analytical and process-oriented

  • • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time

  • Outstanding written communication and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of project management software platforms i.e. Asana

  • Strong experience tracking metrics and preparing reports • Friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships within the Company

  • Can ensure compliance and alignment with Lennar policies and business goals

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work in excess of eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
