Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 60 months of role experience is required.

• 60 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

• 9 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel and Local candidates are eligible to apply for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

*This unit will not accommodate blocked scheduling

OT After 40

Weekend Requirement: Need to be available to work weekends when needed, may be every other

Holiday Requirement: Traveler should expect to assist with holidays

Is there a call or standby requirement? may be put on call for low census shifts.

Floating Requirements: Will be required to work L&D, PP, PACU (only recovering mothers), & to circulate in the OR throughout their assignment & shift, may float to mother baby overflow unit, no post-op GYN on postpartum side. Could be floated to be a sitter if needed. Must have strong skills in all areas of LDRP and be willing and engaged to go to either side.

Do ratios follow AWHONN guidelines? Yes

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Level 1 birthing center, 32 weeks and greater, twin deliveries, high risk patients get sent out

Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of L&D experience (outside of their training).
  • Comfortable with EPIC charting.
  • Comfortable with circulating in the OR (and it’s a bonus if they can Scrub but not necessary).
  • Experience with LDRP and MBC.

Are RNs required to titrate drips? yes - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: mag, pit, insulin
