DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As part of this internship, responsibilities will encompass managing appointment schedules, inputting data, sending routine correspondence, aiding in the preparation of presentations, and organizing, reviewing, and scanning documents as needed. Moreover, there will be a requirement to provide additional administrative support and perform routine clerical tasks as necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Temporary Full-time employment.
    • Summer employment only. Positions work timeline will not start before May 1, 2024, and will end before September 30, 2024.
  • Work hours: Students must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week during the business hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with 30-minute lunch. Within these parameters, hours are flexible with school schedules.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

Internship Requirements:

  • You must be a fulltime student (12 credits for undergraduates and 9 credits for graduate students) enrolled in a post-secondary education program for the next semester.
  • You must be in good academic standing.
  • You must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • You must have customer service experience that encompassed interacting with others in a professional manner.
  • You must be proficient with computers.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
  • Able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week through September 2024.
  • Experience using office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel and Word
  • Have telephone etiquette, customer services skills, and typing skills.
  • Able to work in and commute to the work address in Dauphin County.
