IT Intern

• Provide IT support to our user community.
• Install and configure new computers and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems.
• Create articles for a user-facing knowledge base.
• Monitor, maintain and install Windows desktops.
• Document and flow chart systems and processes.
• Keep current on technological advances and upgrades.
• Diagnose and resolve issues that affect computer operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, handheld devices, phones, printers, and other endpoint devices.
• Track, prioritize, and document all requests and customer interactions using the Service Desk ticketing system.
• Assist with software and hardware upgrades.
• Coordinate and perform workspace relations and moves.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift equipment.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to independently analyze and solve problems. 
• Ability to communicate with users at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to present new ideas to groups and individuals. 
• Strong customer service skills.
• Basic understanding of computer networking.
• Working knowledge of both PC hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Help desk and customer service skills a must.

• Currently an enrolled student in a Bachelor's or Associate Degree program from an accredited institution, preferably pursuing a degree in Information Technology or another related field
