🌳Edge AI Engineer - Remote - Client based in Austin TX, US🌳


Areti Group is working with a dynamic and innovative tech company based in Austin, TX who are at the forefront of AI-driven solutions. They specialise in cutting-edge technologies that bridge the gap between cloud and edge computing.


They are seeking a talented Edge AI Engineer to join their passionate team on a permanent basis. As an Edge AI Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and deploying AI models directly on edge devices. Your work will impact real-world applications across industries, from autonomous vehicles to smart cities.


🌳Competitive salary - $$$ - Permanent position

🌳Remote - ideally placed in CST/CDT time zone

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI models optimized for edge devices (e.g., IoT endpoints, sensors).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
  • Optimize model performance, considering factors like latency, memory, and power consumption.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in edge computing and AI technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Strong understanding of edge computing concepts and hardware limitations.
  • Familiarity with computer vision, natural language processing, or reinforcement learning is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
