Position Title:Director of Community Lending

Business Unit:Mortgage Administration

Reports to:National Mortgage Banking Manager

Position Overview:

This role will play a pivotal part in implementing the strategic vision for FNB's Community Lending initiatives across the organization. It involves crafting and implementing strategies in collaboration with senior leadership, including retail mortgage and retail banking. The incumbent will bear responsibility for achieving all Community Lending application and funding production goals aligned with this strategic focus. Furthermore, the role encompasses the development and supervision of direct reports, with a specific focus on driving production and raising awareness within the community lending space. Leads the design and implementation of lending strategies that support community development and address housing and economic needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manages team of Community Homeownership Specialists to meet overall business goals and outcomes related to the execution of our Community Lending initiatives. These efforts will have a primary emphasis on communities of focus and drive support, education, and awareness through our resources and Community Lending products/services. Develops and executes a strategic vision for community lending programs in alignment with organizational goals.

Oversees the end-to-end management of community lending programs, ensuring adherence to regulations, policies, and ethical standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative lending solutions to drive positive overall Community Lending outcomes.

Formulates, implements, and executes business plans and strategies with senior mortgage leadership and retail banking leadership to coordinate efforts and ensure seamless integration of community lending initiatives. This includes sales and outreach efforts, growth and maintenance of the positive affordable lending reputation of the organization in the community, as well as collaborative business development efforts with key bank partners.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with community partners, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Acts as a liaison between the organization and community leaders to identify lending opportunities and address community needs. Participates in strategic planning and tactical execution around FNB brand awareness, key DPA programs, growing FNB affordable lending market share, and driving sales outcomes.

Oversees the comprehensive risk and return profile, proactively identifying and addressing multiple risk categories of importance. Collaborates closely with Mortgage and Retail Banking leadership, as well as other key partners, to provide guidance on education, risk management oversight, reporting, and the development and implementation of effective controls.

Supports and promotes the generation of advanced reports to conduct in depth evaluations of the community lending program's performance, covering application and funding metrics. Expertly collects and analyzes data related to lending activities in specific communities, giving heightened attention to vital demographics and impact indicators, particularly in the realm of compliance-related initiatives. Demonstrates an advanced skill set in delivering sophisticated board and executive-level updates, coupled with the ability to craft and deliver impactful presentations.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
