CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Program CNC Machines using Mastercam. Role is primarily programming but the chosen applicant will have CNC Machinist experience to understand the role
  
• Set up and operate a variety of machining equipment, such as lathes, mills, CNC machines, and grinders, to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  
• Analyze work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to determine the machining process, tooling, and materials required for each project.
  
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of machines and tools, performing routine checks and adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to discuss project requirements, provide input on design for manufacturability, and troubleshoot any potential issues.
  
• Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality and adherence to tolerance standards, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
  
• Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and make necessary corrections to meet quality standards.
  
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
  
• Continuously stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and machining techniques to enhance your skills and contribute to process improvements.
  

Education and Experience Requirements: 

• 
  
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is a plus.
  
• Proven experience as a Machinist, demonstrating proficiency in operating various machining equipment and tools.
  
• Proven experience programming Mastercam
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 
  
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate production.
  
• Knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a must.
  
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Adherence to safety regulations and best practices in machining.
  
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages or medical equipment as needed.
  
• Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and comply with relevant safety regulations.
  
• Mastercam proficiency a must
