Business Area Manager

Our client in Benson, MN is currently seeking a Business Area Manager, this is a direct hire permanent position. The company's 35,000+ employees are part of an inclusive and diverse workplace dedicated to empowering customers to grow and build a better world.Responsibilities:Overseeing personnel management and resource allocation to meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with both plant and corporate objectives. Providing direct supervision, feedback, and coaching to team members to cultivate a collaborative environment.Meeting daily and short-term targets by prioritizing tasks and ensuring their completion.Providing direction and resources to support long-term vision and achieve World Class Manufacturing objectives and cost reduction targets.Manufacturing quality products within budgeted production costs to fulfill market demand.Setting up equipment operations parameters such as feed, speed, and temperature.Following established procedures while driving continuous improvement in plant processes.Selecting and measuring raw materials and parts according to specifications for production processing.Resolving issues related to production, machinery, processing, or packaging operations.Monitoring and managing costs related to own work and business unit operations.Making decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, with oversight from managers.Developing expertise in multiple teams within a specific area, working towards becoming an area or discipline expert.Using judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational challenges.Exchanging technical or non-technical information with colleagues, superiors, and customers.Fulfilling any other assigned duties.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline with a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of manufacturing experience.2 or more years of supervisory experience.Ideal Candidate Attributes:Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.Strong communication and leadership skills.General understanding of MRP/ERP production planning and material flow.Experience with World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).If you have any questions reach out to me directly
