RN Supervisor Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care with managerial experience preferred
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

RN Supervisor Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing the Nursing Department to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to their job descriptions.
  • Participate in facility surveys as requested.
  • Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing personnel meet accepted standards.
