• Location: Florida/ Virginia
Job Overview:
FAR GROUP is looking for qualified personnel, willing to relocate, to be the acting supervisor for projects and site visits in Florida/ Virginia and to monitor said projects from planning to completion, including tasks such as budgeting and scheduling as well as communicating and negotiating with external partners, such as vendors and contractors.
Tasks, Duties:
• Performing site visits along with the Sub-contractors and report any disparity between the Scope of Work and the required maintenance and inspection.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
Qualifications:
• experience supervising construction projects.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certification.
• Strong leadership skills and a demonstrated history of successful leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
