We’re seeking a Senior Director, Relationship Management to join our Investment Manager & Insurance Segment within Asset Servicing. This role is located in Boston, MA or New York City, NY - HYBRID. 

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

In Partnership with the Investment Manager & Insurance Segment Head, develop a strategic plan for managing and growing existing global client relationships, with a focus on revenue retention. 
Serve in a consultative role to the client, advising client leaders on the best way to achieve short- and long- term strategic objectives. 
Identifies opportunities to evolve client business for incremental account growth. 
Conduct frequent and regular check-ins with assigned clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and strategic alignment with firm services/product offerings. 
Provide clients with industry expertise sharing trends as well as current and potential impact on the client business model. 
Develop, track and report on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio.

Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbally and in writing); able to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Consummate professional; able to navigate a matrixed organization 

Qualifications:

Minimum of fifteen (15) years in Sales/Relationship Management, Client Service, or Account Management in Financial Services
Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
Possess established relationships within/across industry and with clients at c-suite level


BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $273,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
