Responsibilities

Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

* Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
* Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
* Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate.
* Record all observations.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

* BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
* Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

Education:

* High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
* Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience,

if applicable.



Additional Preferences

* Must be willing and able to "float" to our sister facilities located in Broken Arrow, Owasso and Sapulpa
* PRN Patient Attendant must be able to work 108 hours per 6 week period (9 shifts)
* Float to the sister facilities (SJBA, SJO, SJS)
* Once hired, you must be able to attend our mandatory 1 week onboarding class. This class will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.
