This opportunity to join the Department of Pediatrics at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons at the rank of Assistant Professor is an exciting one. Columbia University Irving Medical Center, one of the nation's foremost academic health science centers working together with one of the nation's premier health systems, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The section of Adolescent Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, in the division of Child and Adolescent Health, is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our group of six adolescent medicine attending physicians. Clinical practice settings include a community-based primary care setting, a growing adolescent medicine faculty practice in midtown Manhattan, and an inpatient consult service at the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Skill in placing and removing LARCS is essential. Applicants will participate in the teaching of medical students, pediatric residents and adolescent medicine fellows, and are expected to develop a scholarly niche. We are looking for applicants with strong clinical skills and a commitment to academic excellence.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

* Must have a MD or DO degree and an active NYS Medical License

* Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Adolescent Medicine
